I grew up overweight and developed a pretty terrible relationship with food as a result. Over time this stemmed into a poor self image and constant states of fluctuation with weight and health. This was the beginning of what would become the catalyst to what is now a passion for health and wellness.
After starting to dive into research and “self experimentation” with diets and exercise, I started to develop a deep rooted interest in all things wellness. I soon realized I wanted to use this newly discovered world of betterment to help others to do the same.
I have spent the better part of the last 10 years, coaching and training clients. Along the way I’ve worked with some incredible people and have had the privilege of witnessing some amazing journeys of progression. The thing I enjoy most, is not the physical changes or even the increase in ability, it’s the overall improvement of quality of life. I believe we should work daily toward becoming the best version of ourselves. I feel the most important place this shows up is in the way we lead our families.
Taking control of our own health and wellness is crucial if we are to lead our families to do the same!
My wife Courtney and I are raising a toddler, so we realize how impressionable they are, how every detail of what we do is observed and then imitated, so this makes the way we care for ourselves (namely our health), even more critical!
